Stimulus Africa Foundation
Stimulus Africa Foundation is a social enterprise established in 2011 in Harare, Zimbabwe with a mandate to positively disrupt the manner in which Zimbabwe and Africa approaches entrepreneurship.
Its overarching goal is to supporting private sector development through entrepreneurship in order to create jobs and improve the lives and communities of ordinary people. Our core activities include training & coaching, mentorship, counselling support, networking as well as information dissemination within the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Zimbabwe
Stimulus Networks
Whilst founded in entrepreneurial capacity development, over the years Stimulus has seen a shift in its model in recognition that the individual is three dimensional and therefore we cannot effectively impact and support her/him if we don’t seek to do so holistically looking at both their capacity development and social needs.
With this in mind we established four distinct networks within our organisation that expand on what we believe are critical areas of development that we are actively participating in, these are:
- Stimulus Women Network
- Stimulus Green Business Network
- Stimulus Project Management Network
- Stimulus Civic Engagement Network
Information dissemination resulting from the work of our research and advocacy unit is a critical part of what we do as an organisation as this provides necessary support to the individuals we are impacting and it also powers our public-private dialogue platforms and enables us to be a thought leader particularly in private sector development and the civic engagement space.
